On December 15, Wreaths Across America holds its annual wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. Many locations across the U.S. join them, paying tribute to those loved ones who lost their lives in service to country. Here at Casas Adobes Flower Shop, we can’t think of a better time to stop and pay our respects to those family and friends we’ve lost than during the holidays. After all, this is a time when we’re encouraged to embrace our loved ones and to feel gratitude that we have them.

One way to celebrate the life and sacrifice of a beloved vet is to follow the Wreaths Across America example and offer a personal tribute at a grave site, placing a wreath like Noble Fir Wreath there. But tributes can also happen in the home and utilize a variety of personal effects like medals, photographs and other meaningful items that represent our loved one. 

Dedicate some time this holiday season to honoring those loved ones who served valiantly. This is a time to feel connected to family and friends; memorials help us do just that.
