As most of you may know there was a tragic event that happened Saturday morning. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was shot, 6 people are dead and 14 others are injured with the shooting that happened in the Safeway Shopping center right next door to our flower shop. We would like to take a moment to extend our heartfelt prayers and thoughts to all involved in this event. We pray for strength and courage to the families of the lost to endure the days ahead.
We wish a very speedy recovery to Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and the 14 others that are injured.

One of our customer service representatives, Sarah was in the Safeway when the shooting and chaos happened. She was getting items for a fruit basket for a delivery for Saturday. She saw the situation and left out the other doors and came straight back to the shop. The police and ambulances and all emergency personally were quickly arrived on the scene and they closed our shop and other business in the plaza so that the police can conclude their investigation. All law enforcement has been very polite and courteous while doing their questioning and have communicated with us very well thus far. We give our thanks to their hard effort during this investigation.
