We’ve got many patriotic holidays on the calendar, but the only one dedicated to honoring those troops who sacrificed their lives for their country is Memorial Day. This May 28th, join Casas Adobes Flower Shop in remembering our fallen heroes. The three-day weekend ensures that we have ample time to gather with friends and family to do just that, and many of us will be hosting dinners and barbecues to both herald the arrival of summer and to pay our respects to the men and women in our lives whose courage has impacted so many. If you’re hosting a gathering (or attending one) where there is a guest of honor—someone who is particularly feeling a loss right now—offer them a gift of flowers that reflects your support and acknowledgement.

One of our favorite patriotic pieces is American Glory, a simple array of flowers representing the colors of the flag, which is added as an accent to the design. Brought together in a white basket, this is an arrangement that would do well as the centerpiece on a Memorial Day table or as a special delivery to someone who has been particularly affected by the loss of a soldier.
